Old Flying Machine Company has a significant and
unmatched record of air display flying that stretches back over 30
years, and as a result we are well known to deliver the very best
air displays. The company’s focus is primarily the display of these
aircraft for private and public events. Our unique event management
is handled by Laura Bonhomme who looks after the flying displays
from initial contact right through to completion with an outstanding
level of service. We are also able to offer a Display Directing
service which includes all liaison with the Civil Aviation
Authority, site appraisal and risk assessment.
Regular events include the Goodwood Revival,
Arundel Festival, Stanley Hall Private Party, Silverstone Race Track
and Biggin Hill Air Fair.
The aircraft displays can feature solo
exhibitions, dogfights, battle attack sequences and superb formation
flying. Displays can be provided from a single exhibition to an
entire show, bringing in additional aircraft where required.
Some of the most experienced
display pilots in the world fly with the Old Flying Machine Company,
offering a cross section of skills and expertise second to none.
The aircraft displays carry on the company’s
tradition of showing the aircraft in their original roles, a fitting
tribute to Ray and Mark Hanna, much-missed founders of the company.
Aircraft being displayed in 2010 include the
Spitfire IX MH434 and P51-D Mustang 'Ferocious Frankie'.
